You would need to form a Canadian corporation in order to qualify for a .ca domain if you are not a citizen or resident.

I'll register the domain for you then rent it back to you for twice the registrar fees.

And give you a 100 year contract!

Does that work? Sound legal?

If its not legal forget it...

You do not need to be Canadian, just a business interest in Canada.

Although I would recommend using a CAN address.

I can proxy them for you..

$30/name

The requirements are different from .us domain requirements. You have to be perm resident, company or citizen.

I don't want somebody else to own the domains, I rather fake the whois to non existant persons but I don't know how secure it is with .ca domains.

Seems to be too risky, I'll wait until they have similiar rules like the .us ones.

I just submitted a registration for adultpersonal.ca

Domain.ca doesn't quite work like with other registrars (i.e. directNIC). They first study your submitted information before sending you a user name and pw. All submissions are humanly approved first. Hope they don't take a week... lol

BTW, I'm from Canada, this should help

Do you really believe that a surfer would be checking to see whether the domain is a .ca or a .com while he's got his dick in one hand and credit card in the other? WTF?
