Buffets suck. Who wants shuffle along with the masses in some line rather than sitting down and being served by a wait staff?

My vote goes to Bellagio. Best I've had in Vegas :thumbsup

Yes, most buffets in your average city DO suck, but that doesn't apply to Las Vegas.
Many Las Vegas casinos go all out and really woo customers with great food. Some Vegas buffets are truly awesome. My favorites: Bally's has a great buffet, and the Las Vegas Hilton buffet is also very good. We were NOT impressed with the Aladdin buffet, nor the Imperial Palace buffet. Skip those. |
That's how the Rich get Richer!
By saving money eating at buffets! seen it a million times! good post KRL on how to save some cash! The tight wads eat at buffets. the ones that want real food get waited on! |

I'd rather a taste of everything than a big pile of the same. And, personally, I don't enjoy being waited on at all. I've been to several Vegas buffets and rarely were there lines.. but I generally go at odd hours. |
I used to be a chef I and I can tell you I lost count of the amount of condoms that would come back from buffet food, kids i caught spiiting in the food, people taking leftovers back, etx etc your worst thoughts happen hourly at a buffet ;)
thanks but no thanks I'll have mine straight from the kitchen |
Rio, hands down!
Two to choose from - Seafood buffet and an international buffet where you can get damn near anything! |
the mother fucking RIO!!!!!

Just got back from the mirage 2 weeks ago, and the reopened their buffet in the last year.
It's now called "CRAVINGS" and is quite excellent, I ate breakfast there once and lunch once. Breakfast was like $12-14, lunch was $18.99 or something close. Drinks included. It was great, very nice selection and very clean and fresh food. The bellagio seems to expensive for my tastes. $33 for a lunch buffet??? I actually had a really hard time justifing the mirage buffet because I'm a fairly skinny guy who doesnt eat much meat, so I have a hard time paying for all you can eat buffets when I know I never eat enough to cover my costs. However, I was usually too lazy to walk somewhere else to get food after sitting in the poker room for 8-12 hours each day. Plus I got comped like $500+ on my room for the week so the price didnt bother me quite as bad. My friend said the prime rib was excellent. And I enjoyed the oriental food, the salads, some american food, and the excellent dessert. Breakfast was really really good, lots of choices, and custom omlets. I will mention I also enjoyed the rio, however, it is off strip so you'll either be walking or taking a taxi. But there is also a free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes between the rio and harrahs until 1am. So you can probably catch that. Also the buffet at Excalabur was good when we were there back in March, and I dont think it's changed much since then. Hope that helps. And if all else fails, there's always $1.49 1lb chili dogs at Westward Ho. |
