What program do you use to make Videos?

I use PowerDirectorPro, but I think there must be something better out there.
I also tried the Windows Movie Maker that comes standard with XP, and even though it doesnt have many features, the quality was not bad at all.

Which proggies do you use and recommend?

Adobe Premiere for putting them together, adding logos, making DVD files.

WMV9 encoder for making web ready clips.

thanx guys!
I'm downloading Premiere Pro 1.5 now to start getting familiarized with it. Then I'll try to get it cheaper on eBay ($699 at the Adobe.com store, ouch! )

But only $249 educational version

Matrox looks pretty good.

I used Ulead about 5 years ago, when they came up with one of the first Gif Animators. They were very good back then. I can only imagine how great this video program must be.

Adobe Premiere Pro

Encore DVD

I think Vegas is better but I just stick with all Adobe products since the interface is similar to Photoshop.

In the end it really comes down to what you want to do

The matrox system unlocks the power of real-time editing
The shit you can do in real-time without rendering is amazing
