I have have watched them, I've also looked into the claims made in both movies. You do the same and then point out 2 parts of farenhype that prove anything in Moore's movie to be false. Grab some balls and think for yourself.

Bush and Prince Bandar

Deceit 17

Moore points out the distressingly close relationship between Saudi Arabia?s ambassador, Prince Bandar, and the Bush family. But Moore does not explain that Bandar has been a bipartisan Washington power broker for decades, and that Bill Clinton repeatedly relied on Bandar to advance Clinton?s own Middle East agenda. (Elsa Walsh, "The Prince. How the Saudi Ambassador became Washington?s indispensable operator," The New Yorker, Mar. 24, 2003.)

So by NOT stating that Bandar was .... , it makes untrue the statment that the Prince Bandar has a close relationship with the Bush family.... ???

Were does Moore Lies??? Moore and his movie has an agenda, and he is making his point... that doesn't make it lies because you don;t like it ...

Saudi royal family has had a close relationship with the US period.

Prehaps you should finish reading it

"What is misleading is for Moore to look at the web of Saudi influence in Washington only in regard to the Republican Bushes, and to ignore the fact that Saudi influence and money are widespread in both parties."

While it isn't a direct lie he uses the information to mislead in the overall aspect

I read it all, thank you....

And you just confirmed what I am saying : misleading, deceit, propaganda, one sided view and so on...

But no LIES ...

If this is lying, then what was the State of the union speech ????
A necklace of lies ????

kenny 10-16-2004 08:49 PM

What Moore did for his film was take bits and pieces of film and information and edit them in a way to make Bush's intentions and policies look as bad as possible.

While there might not be any direct lies the film is misleading.

For a quick example the film mentioned Bush was on vacation 42% of the time.

Moore came up with this number by counting weekends and the times the president was at camp David.

Bush wasn't in the white house 42% of the time.

Not a lie, just misleading

Seems he has one point in common with Bush.... misleading...

The only difference, his " misleading" brought in 200 million, not cost 120 billion ...
And no one died, to my knowledge, watching his movie...

Almost everything regarding politics is misleading and propaganda.

I am not saying Bush is good or Moore is bad or what the fuck ever

I am just trying to point out the F911 isn't some great source of factual information.

MICHAEL MOORE IS A GODDAMN WAR PROFITEER AND IF IT WAS SO TRUTHFUL HE SHOULD HAVE SHOWN IT FOR FREE TO EVERYONE!

Fucking morons who believe this movie are usually the same people voting for Kerry. PRETTY FUCKING IGNORANT - 82% of Kerry supporters are voting for one Reason - I hate BUSH. WOW seems to me Bush is the lesser of 2 evils and if this is the main reason then this country is fucked!

By "points" do you mean the parts with his personal opinion and dot connecting?

Was really suprised to hear the news from Michael Moore tonite on Leno that his movie that was supposed to be aired on a "pay per view" type of channel on cable called "On Demand" the night before the election has been pulled.

He said he had a contract and everything signed but that Comcast or WHOEVER he negotiated with backed out of it saying it was "too political" and thus too many legal issues to be shown then.

What did they think they were getting when they first agreed to this..a cooking show?

But Moore has offered the Sinclair stations who are going to air the anti-Kerry movie HIS movie, free of charge to air on their 62 stations to see if they really are "fair and balanced."

Man..the airwaves and those who own them are whacked sometimes.

that's very odd because the president of Comcast openly stated on Bullseye that he will be voting for Kerry.
