So what?s the deal now w/ Kobe? The criminal case got dropped, but the girl is still pursuing the civil case?

From what I've seen and heard the girl backed out of the criminal trial but is still going through with a civil trial trying to get some kind of cash from him.

Supposedly, Colorado law sets a ceiling on how much a plaintiff can get. I think it's set at $750K. These transcripts screw up the victim's civil trial because she was hoping that the transcripts would reveal stuff about Kobe that he'd rather pay to have hidden. Stuff like how he loves to cum on a girl's face, the fact he has a mistress in New York and the fact that he likes to grab girls around the neck while he's doin' them in doggy.

Plus, Kobe eventually named Shaq as a guy who pays his chicks $1 million not to tell. This started a huge controversy cuz Kobe broke the code of the lockerroom and even had L.A. Times Sports columnist J.A. Adande calling Kobe a rat. Shaq knew all this before last season started. No wonder they didn't win last year. Shaq truly hated Kobe's guts which screwed up any hopes of a Laker dynasty.

Then this recent book that Phil Jackson is coming out with where he details private conversations he had with Kobe and Shaq. The book doesn't put Kobe in a positive light but vindicates Shaq because he'd told people all along that Kobe was the problem.

Basically two talented NBA superstar egomaniacs messed up the Lakers chances for yearly NBA supremacy. I don't fault Jackson too much considering he's won 9 rings and both Kobe and Shaq know they wouldn't have reached the promised land without him.

This Tobey Bryan spoof sounds interesting and it's not too farfetched to assume that Kobe' doesn't screw around. I'll probably check it out. Strictly as an NBA fan of course.
