SuicideGirls.com infringing on nintendo property rights

Posted on www.suicidegirls.com: I got this email this morning from the law firm that represent Nintendo. They are claiming that the member RuneLateralus listing Zelda and Metorid as his favortie video games in his profile is an infringement on Nintendo's intellectual property. I enjoy an ice cold coca cola on a hot day. Do you think Coca Cola is going to sue me for posting that?

Remember, kids, lawyers are evil and all they want to do is figure a way to bill you more of their time. Nintendo is actually paying these people to threaten me over RuneLateralus favorite video games listing on his profile. What a bunch of morons.

The second one is posting a reprint of their email to you on this board.

While their claim is petty, you're a porn site operator - they're a huge mainstream company and they'll win.

Do yourself a favor and do what they tell you to - then go over and count your daily joins so you'll feel better and get the bitter taste outta your mouth that doing what they say will surely leave....

I used the word nintendo on a site once in regards to something like this and Nintendo sent me a C n D to remove it and all references of nintendo from the domain or heavy penalties.

also - the way they plan on enforcing this is by saying search engines will send kids to your site.

they told me that - saying i was illegally using their keyword to target keywords, and for adult sites using "children video game company name" - what a crock of shit. i removed it just to end it.

how do you think they found the site with Metroid text?
