Had lunch the other day with Aly , J Styles, Joe (smashbucks) and Airek ( videopass ) and i taste it....

I am going to have some again this weekend with a few industry friends in Unversal City on Ventura , anyone down for a Killer Shrimp Webmaster Lunch?

hey - I love killer shrimp - I used to eat there once a week when I first moved to LA - I would be up for a lunch - havent been in months - thanks for reminding me - life is passing me by - for anyone who deosnt knwo what killer shrimp is - it is a simple restaurant that only has a couple items on the menu - if you go there - get the original - it is a large bowl of tasty sauce and shrimp and a basket of french bread to dunk - yum!

Are you in Southern Cali area? Which one do you go to?

I've been there twice and both times I got sick off their, trendy suck ass, bottom-of-the-barrel, Grade F, shrimp.

That place sucks.

A little background ...

Somebody thought it would be a good idea to do one thing and do it well. The result in this case is Killer Shrimp. Fresh Louisiana Gulf shrimp are brought in daily and appear in only three incarnations: with bread, pasta, or rice. The remainder of the menu consists of beverages, including beer and wine, and a sweet potato pecan pie. A trendy stop for nearby industry types to grab a quick bite.

That's actually the first Killer Shrimp I ever went to when I lived in the Marina back in the day. Saw Arsenio Hall and Paula Abdul cozying up at a table there one night!

Sorry that I missed you guys there yesterday. I intended on going but only had so much time in LA and had to get business done.
