Hey guys

Heard on the local news here in London ontario. That there was some porn shoot that went on with a few porn stars.

Guess the people filming went to the local university (UWO) and recuited several students for the shoot.

The city had big problems about it trying to get the police involved saying it was harmful to the students. Cops couldn't do anything since no laws were broken.

But my question is does anyone know who was shooting? Was it for video or a website?

Actually, paying/charging someone for sex is considered prostitution and charges can be filed as such...There are currently no exceptions to this, in Ontario or in Canada.

Hopefully no one received any money

Not entirely True... not much to do there unless you like to party, its pretty much one big PARTY town... due to the student but I bet only 60% of the Bar Scene is from Actual Western Students... I know allot of my buddies from UT UTM Waterloo.. and all over love to head over to Lodon to Party.. Hamilton is fun aswell.... Hess village... =D

Prostitution is legal in all of Canada and has been since at least mid 1800s
What is illegal is communicating for the purposes of... (solicitation law)

actually they are right... prostitution is not itself illegal, its the solicitation. That is common knowledge I thought for anyone living in Toronto - call any police station and ask before slamming someone on a topic that is well known to anyone living here

Well I will say London does have alot of bars (actually looking at buying one just recently) But they are very stuck up when it comes to sex or that industry.

Always slamming the strip clubs and trying to close them down. Lost a good chunk of change a few years back when I and a partner were reopening a club.

We need a new Mayor...

Oh well...just hope to hear sooner if there is another movie or website shoot like that coming to London.

I'd rather not say which bar until the deal goes through...or falls flat on me. But there is a plan to make it after hours after a month or so of running.

Heck would even be willing for it to be used as a back drop for photo shoots thats of course if I am not doing a shoot that day

What's better about Toronto?

To me it just seems like a big version of London, with ten times more minorities and horrible traffic.

Now with the John Labatt Centre, they get some good concerts there too. Metallica is playing there in a couple weeks. Already seen them in Toronto a week ago, otherwise I would be catching the show in London.

No that wasn't me.. But I have heard through my contacts that they are still trying to open the club but the city is putting hearings off weeks at a time. Would like to see them open it up again. Just with a different manager or a different business plan..

forum was one of the best stripper bar in london the new guys just fucked it up royally. I knew the previous owner.

I still can't believe they didn't pay the fine and keep the club in open, but considering they lost all the hot strippers to the other clubs i can see they weren't making the kind of money to make that viable.
