not worth it for me
|
I would do it on the condition that I'm allowed to carry a firearm with me at all times.
I've pondered us sending some life sentence convicts over there strapped with explosives. Require that they rome freely in the militant areas posing as western workers. Make them serve 12 month tours. If they manage to live - reduce their sentences to 20 years. If they don't, hopefully they had the guts to push the button after the would-be captors eshewed them into their car. |

|
Oh and I was mistaken, the guy is 27 years old. His younger brother is 22. I got them mixed up.

|
No chance, as it was said before dead people can't spend money!
|

I would too ...
We must install democracy in that country. It will be infectious to all of the regions around it. There is no turning back - the voice of peace from the Iraqi population must be heard. |

2. Yep he has very specialist training, also paid for by the Oil Companies. 3. Me either. |
Why in the world would I take a cut in pay to go to Iraq?
|
With disregard to the fact I'd say no anyhow...
My friend cuts a few oilfields for a small time oil company here. $6000 for 1 days work. $6000 cutting grass 1 day vs $800 in Iraq, Haliburton are cheapasses! |
Firstly it would take a hell of alot more money for any sane person to even think about.
Secondly the going rate is like 80k. Thirdly heres the same scenario. Would you play roulette at 1:25000 for any number on the board but if the ball lands on "00" you get your head chopped off. Thats about the rough odds.. |

For $800 a day 7 days a week, I might just do it.
|
Could I telecommute?
|
I would not.
I understand his choice though. He has developed skills and actually with protection (him) danger will lower... |
