I was looking back in late 2002 at the same color and interior. I passed up on a convertible cause I hate that camel interior.

My buddy went ahead and got his. One of the better sports cars I've ever driven.

Herb Kornfield 10-14-2004 07:59 AM

Going fast in a plastic car will only increase the chances of killing yourself and all the iditos that are packed in there with you as you "think" that you are cool.

I drive only trucks - In all forms of weather and all terrains.

Ever notice that the fucktards with the loudest systems blasting tunes are usually driving without babes ???......

Be a true player and get in a truck.

MaDalton 10-14-2004 08:19 AM

someone mentioned the 928 - here's a collection of 928s, 944s and 968s from a few weeks ago...

That's really sucks since they retails at $6 for the package.

I got them for $3200 with tires. :(

I was in the process of cleaning out the garage when I uncovered this. At the moment I'm in the process of purchasing everything I need to rebuild the engine, it looks like it swallowed a ring.

Thanks for the compliment, I can't wait to get it running.

The garage actually looks much better now. All that stuff, along with the shelves got dumped. I put up new drywall, painted it, and installed new shelving. Most of the old shelves (as you can tell from the one on the farthest left) was crippled from an earthquake that we had (like 10 years ago, :1orglaugh ). I was terrified that they were going to collapse and crush the car, so I finally decided to do something.

Bigwilly 10-15-2004 02:06 PM

I have to correct you, paying more for a name is what you do when you buy Tommy Hilfiger underwear... porsche makes a car that is second to none in it's class, anyone who owns or has ever owned a porsche will tell you there is no substitution!

Cars or any products don't reach brandname or icon status if they are weak in design and engineering. How many automakers can claim over 100hp per liter with an aircooled engine? The fit and finish in a 50 year old porsche will make a new american car look shoddy by comparison. If you ever are lucky enough to own a Porsche, you will then understand.

There are 10's of thousands of 356's being driven and raced.

For sure...

People are still modifying and racing 1982 Supras, so I'm sure there's some longevity there. Nowhere near the Porsche racing heritage for sure, and I would never claim otherwise.
