It means we work 12 - 15 hours a day so we can have what we have always dreamed of and not settle for less.

Its just a drive of hunger and achievment in life most people go through.

And I think I am speaking on behalf of everyone here.

You're not the only one putting in long hours. I think flaunting wealth is not in good taste. Just my :2 cents:

Tell me how signing up to a program is gonna earn me money, not how much you get out of it. I know I always tell my surfers, hey schmuck sign up so I can buy my third Porsche.....

I was taking this to be a spam thread that it is.

Show me a modded japanese car that still has something after 100,000 miles on it.I can show you porsches that are 50 years old that will still out track most cars.

My 118,000 mile Supra still put out 514 to the wheels before I had the motor rebuilt and an even larger turbo added.

I just tracked the car at Mission Raceway for two and a half hours and the car did great!

My Supra handles great. I even have a lead on some video footage of the Supra drifting a little. The dude with the video cam is going to email me when the clips are ready. :)

I don't think its flaunting wealth, 8 years ago I had a 1978 Chevy van that ran off of 7 cyclinders becauase I couldn't afford to fix it.
I think most of us here are self made and I look at it as motivation.

If I could share the stories of some of our webmasters success I would be here typing all day. It can happen to anyone, its how you work it.

All we are doing her is sharing, not flaunting. I look at this place as one big happy family bacuase we are all in the same Biz.

You should ride in a tuned up single turbo Surpa sometime :) The Supra also handles and brakes very good stock. I have 14" Stoptech brakes and Tein coil overs with custom swaybars.

BlingDaddy 10-13-2004 02:52 PM

I've never been a big fan of Porsche. I'll stick with my Benz... :2 cents:

I like the double bill option.

Actually the buying credit card numbers isn't funny. Fell victum to that. CC company picked up the tab in the end, but there wasa lot of time wated on the phone. I know there are zillions that just pay and don't check. My g/f goes through all my statements. A side benefit of her checking up on me.

We'll do it from a roll, 60 mph to 160 mph

My last setup did 686 rwhp ( approx. 800 horsepower at the engine )

I have 272 cams and a Veilside intake coming now, plus I have a T88 larger turbo than before as well as the new shortblock. Power should be in the 800-850 rwhp range. ( Over 1000 at the crank )

Would be a loooooooong drive to Texas for one race though! lol!

You can find several videos on the internet of Supras killing litre bikes on the highway...

Babagirls 10-13-2004 03:40 PM

Ok, on a roll, you may take the bike. But it also depends on how much balls the rider of the bike has. That bike will hit 175 but would be crazy to go that fast for a long time.

High priced enthusiasts cars do not sell well. High priced poser cars do.

Uh.

You would tie with a base model Boxster in a straight line race. And that's about it.

The previous owner of this car has hit 185 mph at Portland International Raceway.

I've personally done in the 170 mph range but I lost my nerve to go any faster. It was still pulling pretty good!

Huggles 10-13-2004 03:58 PM

Chase, with those huge ass wheels it makes your brakes look ghetto. You should upgrade to some big binders :)

Sexy Rex 10-13-2004 04:03 PM

Got a Cayene S right now, miss my 911 C4...

I've been racing with a 911 GT3 as well and all the track I recall of were full or Porsches runing all day long when other brands were dealing with increasing problems. I recall a Viper with 650hp, good driver, was not very difficult to pass with the GT3 and only 380hp. Just to say power is not all...
My :2 cents:

That's clearly open for debate.

How many supra's were made? How many are still on the road? In 50 years, how many will still be running.

There are 10's of thousands of 356's being driven and raced.
