You have to pay a converter about 20k to make it US ready, but not a bad way to go. Resale will also be lower, because it is a gray market car. It gets you ni the door cheaper, but when you try to sell, you won't get the same price as you would for a US car.

Don't buy a Ferrari . I have owned 3 over a 6 year period when i lived in the Uk and all of them had mechanical problems. I admit they are about the sexiest looking supercar around but its no substitute for reliability. Why not try the new Aston Martin at around $180,000 its cool and not so common.
Or if you want a reliable supercar the Porsche is hard to beat and you can get two for the price of the Ferrari ?
