They are legal immigrants who obeyed the laws to be granted access to our country. Why not have legal immigration instead of illegal?

No, they are great for the economy. Without illegal immigrants, cost of living would be high like it is in some of europe, which would decrease consumption, which would hurt the economy even more. It goes like a chain reaction.

Each child costs goverment money until he/she is raised. When a mexican is born and raised in Mexico and comes to US all ready to work, it is like found money.

Of course there are some disadvantages to having illegal workers and border jumpers, but the advantages certainly outweigh them by far.

WFT does that have to do with illegal immigrants? . Hospitals are downsizing in California because insurance companies are refusing to pay the high prices of what doctors bill them. Many doctors are therefore retiring or going into private practice.

1) That the cultural respect for rule of law and contract (which are crucial for any well-functioning market economy) will be present

2) That cultural values of saving, investment, etc will be there.

its one thing to make a better life for you and your family, its another thing to abuse systems setup to help people in need. people always talk about the hard working mexicans who pick fruit and send back all their money to support their familys. this simply isnt the case anymore. now they spend every penny on budweiser and stupid mods to their trucks. do you even live near a farm where this is happening or in a big city far away form any farm? you get more annoyed with pampered white kids then illegals? how so? pissed they drive bmws and you drive a pinto wagen? i get annoyed when i visit my friend working in the er and the line is out the door with people who 1 dont speak english and 2 are there simply because they dont have insurance so they visit the er and use medicare to get 1 of their 9 kids treated for a cold. there are alot of people waiting in line to enter this country legally so i see no reason why we should help people whos first official thing done in the country is breaking a law.

mandatory work is not enforced anywhere, theres just not the man power to do it so they dont even try.
time limits and not being able to add new children are easy to get around aswell. drop the program for 2weeks and resignup. you get a fresh start and a bigger check.

the numbers are going down because states are having to cut services like healthcare, education and training while raising the bar on who can enter the programs. people who enter this country illegally have nothing so they cant be denied support for themselves and their children. basicly they are forcing the government to raise the bar on who gets support while denying low income families the assistance they need to support the people who have less then they do. if you think every one of the 3million illegals who enter this country each year are working and not receiving any type of public assistance you're crazy. if the government setup requirements, one being you must learn ENGLISH, they might get off of the assistance and find real jobs. instead they are stuck in deadend manual labor jobs that dont require enteraction with others.
