If your company runs into the same kind of issues as iBill did, you might want to cut back on the number of employees in order to save the business. This is pretty much standard procedure.

Considering the fact that iBill actually began paying clients again, proves they're getting funds from somebody and somewhere. The real money is stuck at First Data and they're living off of these to the rescue funds.

Hopefully somebody posts on CMI soon.

FirstData held a whopping 1 or 2 weeks worth of funds. Ibill would be fine if it weren't for no money, a shit ass situation, and the fact that they are going to lose even more of their declining client base.

I came here with a post count of 1, although I've been in the adult biz far longer than anyone ever heard of the net.

On iBill... not good news, but no more than can be expected. It's not the end of the story on "third party processing" yet - there will be other "names" to follow, just as there as been in the past.

I see we got a few purveyors of merchant accounts trying to earn a dollar over third party processing concerns :-) That's all fine till the day comes they don't perform and your merchant account is placed on the Terminated Merchant File.

Who knows, at least the management at iBill are "doing something" by disposing of staff, presumably in the hope of keeping the operation afloat. Awkward times often need drastic action :-)

In the interests of webmasters, I sure hope they waddle thru this time and honor all monies owing - tho I have nada sympathy for a company that ever allowed itself to get into this situation.

I am closely connected with iBill. I was there since as early as 1998, took it public, and watched the greed destroy it.

One of my good friends was laid off today without severance, and they are actually concerned about the possibility of some money missing from their 401(k).

No commissions were paid to sales employees, and 50 employees were summarily dismissed today. It is a sad sad day for me. . . Tim, Keith H., C.J, Albe, Eric, Eddie, glad you guys got out. . anyone can email me for some free advice.
