I came here with a post count of 1, although I've been in the adult biz far longer than anyone ever heard of the net. On iBill... not good news, but no more than can be expected. It's not the end of the story on "third party processing" yet - there will be other "names" to follow, just as there as been in the past. I see we got a few purveyors of merchant accounts trying to earn a dollar over third party processing concerns :-) That's all fine till the day comes they don't perform and your merchant account is placed on the Terminated Merchant File. Who knows, at least the management at iBill are "doing something" by disposing of staff, presumably in the hope of keeping the operation afloat. Awkward times often need drastic action :-) In the interests of webmasters, I sure hope they waddle thru this time and honor all monies owing - tho I have nada sympathy for a company that ever allowed itself to get into this situation. |
