I just took my '03 Cobra out last night and hit 160 MPH. Not bad considering the governor is supposedly set at 155. It was still climbing fast before the limiter hit at 160... :thumbsup

Funny, I could swear I saw this truck going down SantaMonica last weekend, not one you would easily forget or miss.

I love the 03-04's. I want to trade mine in one day. Just not in the best financial possition to do so right now. What color is your 03'?

I stick to 4 wheel drives these days, was into sports cars back in the day but came too close to loosing my license many times! You can't really go much over the speed limit in these things so it keeps my license pretty safe.

These are fun to drive, and the turbo ones were pretty damn quick.

Black, convertible. I ran it a few times. The first time with the top down and the drag kept me from going over 151. With the top up, I was still accelerating fast until I hit the limiter.

I've got a Saleen Mustang as well, which I've modded the heck out of. It makes the Cobra feel like a kitten.

Jake, I've been looking at getting the Wrangler but in talking to Cory, it's not easy getting the soft top on and off. I don't have a garage right now and as you know, in the south you can get a rain storm any time during the day. Do you find it a pain to take it on and off?

I need 4WD where I live and I'm having a midlife crisis so I need a sportscar. The Wrangler would be my 4WD sportscar :thumbsup

When we lived in NC I never had a problem with taking the top up or down because with the warmer weather the top is very pliable. Since we've moved to CO I have found that it is a little more difficult to take it up/down in the colder weather because the nylon canvas gets pretty rigid. So, it's easy as hell in warm weather and a little more difficult in the colder weather. Since you live in the south you should be fine! Go for it, there's nothing like cruiser around town on a nice day with the doors and the top off!!! :thumbsup
