apartment tips?
My g/f did alot of apartment shopping in FL and found a place she thinks is best. I like the place alot. It has a very nice view, 2 pools, 2 workout rooms, about 4-5 lakes with waterfalls and shit, and just alot of nice stuff. I'm sort of worried about how safe it is..It's such a nice and classy place I would think it's safe, but the lady on the apartment above the available one said her car got broken into a few days ago. What are some things I should look at to determine if this is the right place? (not JUST safety tips.)

good lighting in the parking lot
a good parking situation (ie number of spaces per cars and size of lot) quality of the windows (it will save on your cooling costs) water damage in any part of the building. how interested and knowledgeable the landlord is about the property and tenants. traffic situation pulling out of complex. width of doorways (make sure her furniture will fit in there. i had a huge ordeal getting a couch into my one apartment)

think of the apartment which is suited for you...the space is enough for you...the safety, does the apartment has fire exit or emergency or safety equipment...
