AVS as you knew it in 1996-7 is done but those type of programs are evolving.

Some programs just plain suck, to say it the least.
But deluxepass and a few other programs are fairly good.

You can buy avsprogram.com if you wanna run your own

One of my friends got an ebony deluxepass site. First month he got 150 members.
No hosting bills. No content bill. No nothing but a check with lots of recurring month after month.

does deluxe pass have the same bs that goes along with adult bouncer? like taking forever to get sites approved, zero support, etc?

AVS still does OK but nothing like it used to be. You can't just build a bunch of sites, sit bach & cash in on the upsells from the LL traffic. My conversions are a lot lower now too, but rebills still kick ass.

Last year there were galleries being submitted with AVS programs all over the shop. I rarely see them submitted these days.

We have a few AVS clients, they buy every week. some from the top store www.paulmarkham.com and some from the budget shop www.bargainbasementcontent.com

Some are doing it purely as an AVS and others seem to be doing them as alternatives to TGPs.

Part of that is AB's new setup (I think). More restrictions on galleries/content/hosting (DRM and file sizes and the like - I think, or so I'm told).

AVS is alive and kicking!

Correct, you will not make much if you lay back and are being a lazy fucker.. But in what biz you will?
