H E L P - I need a processor for online shopping cart !

Anybody have any ideas who we can use for an adult video shopping cart?

Everything on here seems to be about membership billing and just wondering if there is a good reputable processor for internet/mail order with a painless setup.

Thanks Everybody!

USE CAUTION WITH THIS COMPANY.. OBVIOUSLY THEY HAVE NO CLUE ON HOW TO OPERATE A COMPANY AND HAVE TERRIBLE SALES PEOPLE AND HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE!!

METROINC (09:53 PM) :
Hello
baddog (09:53 PM) :
hey
METROINC (09:54 PM) :
what is your rate for processing/ reserve?
baddog (09:55 PM) :
11-14% depending on several variables
METROINC (09:55 PM) :
such as
baddog (09:55 PM) :
product, how long site has been up, credit rating
METROINC (09:56 PM) :
so you guys run a credit check?
baddog (09:57 PM) :
well, that is not exactly my department, but I would presume there is some kind of credit check done . . . . let me verify that for you
METROINC (10:04 PM) :
do you work there?

baddog (10:05 PM) :
I act as an agent for their adult side
baddog (10:06 PM) :
they have me handle their adult inquiries, I interact direct with the GM
METROINC (10:06 PM) :
ok... so when can I get an answer?
METROINC (10:06 PM) :
Their online application says nothing about a credit check
baddog (10:08 PM) :
I am contacting him now, he might be at dinner . . . like I said "I would presume" but you are right, they don't request authorization to conduct one, so probably not
baddog (10:08 PM) :
I am finding out what some of the variables might be
METROINC (10:09 PM) :
You have never gotten this question before?
baddog (10:10 PM) :
nope
METROINC (10:10 PM) :
so.. why do you assume that the rate is based on someones credit score?
baddog (10:12 PM) :
or I would have the answer . . . . like I said there are several variables that make the determination . . . that is what I was told when I asked before, I never asked for specifics ., . . that is what I am doing now
baddog (10:14 PM) :
and I did not mean a personal credit rating, I meant if you have a current account with someone else they might check to see what rating you have with them
METROINC (10:14 PM) :
Ok.. let me know
baddog (10:15 PM) :
I will as soon as I hear back . . he emailed me within the last hour, so I am pretty sure he is around
METROINC (10:27 PM) :
. Violation of eCommerceGlobal.com Policy
A. Attempts to offer for sale any item that is tangible in nature including land, or item that must be shipped to the customer via mail or courier.

METROINC (10:27 PM) :
Whats the deal with this? They do not offer their service for tangible products?
baddog (10:29 PM) :
ummm, good question . . . I bet they copied the terms from their mainstream site . . . I was assured they are accepting tangible goods . . . let me get back to you, because that is a MAJOR error from what I was told
METROINC (10:30 PM) :
what is their mainstream site?
baddog (10:33 PM) :
I am not at liberty to disclose they don't want to mix the mainstream with the adult
METROINC (10:34 PM) :
why would that be mixing the two
baddog (10:38 PM) :
some things I don't bother questioning . . . that is one of them . . .
METROINC (10:39 PM) :
Ok.. then some processors I would rather not do business with.. the one you represent is one of them
baddog (10:39 PM) :
okay . . have a good evening

I'm gonna start selling DVDs, and have been starting the process of signing up with www.netbilling.com I've heard good things about them, but haven't actually started yet, so can't give personal comments until later.

Anyone else with coments on Net Billing?

okay

All you do is spam the boards with this fuckin billing company and you are their representative.

Then.. you know nothing about their policy and don't even know if they require a credit check.

You claim you know the GM personally and maybe you should tell him to spend some money on GFY to advertise like everyone else .. instead of spamming each thread with your advertisment.

Also, the terms of service .. you claim.. are not correct.. first they accept processing for tangible products then then the terms say they don't.

You take 10 minutes to answer every question on ICQ...

You can't come up with an answer when someone asks you for the precentage rate or the reserve.

You can't disclose who the parent company is because they are the mainstream company ... are you for real? What are you people hiding?

Your whole operation seems like a scam to me and definitely not trust worthy.

Oh... and maybe since your boss the "GM" is saving so much money by having you advertise on the boards instead of advertising properly like most reputable companies... He should splurge and get you a training seminar.

Nothing bad about it.. Fact of the matter is they don't ask for it on their online application.

But yet.. he claims the rates are based on that.

It was like pulling teeth to get any answers from this clown.

let's see, I am scanning the log you posted, and it looks like I answered you within 2 minutes with each question . . . I am sorry if you think you have my undivided attention, but I usually have 5-8 things going on at once.

I told you the percentage rate is 11-14%

I think it is a given that ones rates are based on ones credit report when applying for a merchant account.

I know that my online application didn't ask, but the application that was fed-X over, I had to sign and send/fax back in the fine print said it (another company).

I said it is based on several variable, "product, how long site has been up, credit rating" and I told you that "I did not mean a personal credit rating, I meant if you have a current account with someone else they might check to see what rating you have with them."

I also told you I would get specific answers for you ASAP, and you might have noticed that it is a Saturday evening, and it was around the dinner hour, so it might take a little longer to get the specific answers you desired.

But hey, at least I will have them for the next guy.

Could be.

If he has, great credit he gets the lower rate if not the higher rate and still gets a merchant account. If he has really bad credit or no credit, I am assuming no account.
