SIC changes link codes...
All webmasters must change the ip address in the link code to "link.siccash.com"
I have thousands of pages with the old link codes with the ip address. I need a program that can change the ip address to "link.siccash.com" on all my pages. I don't know of a program that can do this. I have thousands of pages and it is going to be very difficult to find all these pages. Another problem is my server directories do not even come close to matching the directories on my hard drive. So I would need something that can make these changes on my server. So I am confused to how I can accomplish this. Let me know if you know of a program that can do this |

I don't know of any program, but I have to say that link.siccash.com must've been in place for at least a year. Hmmm...
Anyway, if you have a backup for your site on your PC, then you can run Dreamweaver to replace those codes in full folders, make a list of what has been changed, and upload the changed files. |

jpv... if your running your own server I think Timbuktu would work for you.
I used that back in the day to batch change links and certain headers with new ones. You should still be able to put in your old link and replace everyone on your server with a new one. If I remember correct. [This message has been edited by ezekiel (edited 08-15-2001).] |

Just to let everyone know. This is not as big of an issue as it may seem. We have not used IP address linking codes for two years. We have emailed over a year ago with the new current linking codes. The only webmasters that this will effect will be webmasters that have been in the program for at least two years and have not changed to the current linking codes. If you have any questions please email me at [email protected]
If you are going to have to change your linking codes it may be helpful to view your stats and look at your referring urls to find all of your links. Thanks, Tonda Batt Dir. of Marketing Shaw Internet |

I have been using the old link code for teengoddess, xlesbian and maybe a few other sites. Every time I make a new site or page I just copy links from pages I already have set up. I like cut & paste
![]() I will check out that soft. I hope it works. |
