The results of online polls like these are always skewed by non-American voters.

that was great because I suspect it will turn off a lot of undecided women voters..........at times, Bush looked he was really losing control of himself..............if it would have went on longer, we may have had a "Howard Dean Yeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!" moment.

howard dean, but evil

he was mad for the first 45 and then for the second half of the debate he didnt even look like he was interested to be there.

i hope the news hammers this home over the next couple days because that was ridiculous.

he's supposed to be our commander in chief, but can barely control his rage on national television?

yeah..hot off the presses..and this shows it MUCH closer (and it was much closer imo).

ST. LOUIS, Missouri (CNN) -- There was no clear winner of the second presidential debate, a poll taken late Friday suggests.

A CNN/USA Today/Gallup snap poll taken immediately after the presidential debate Friday night found that respondents gave a slight, statistically insignificant edge to Sen. John Kerry over President Bush, 47 percent to 45 percent.

So Non Americans can't say who won a debate??

This is nothing to do with the voting, all it asks is who do you think won. Believe it or not, Americans are not the only ones capable of coming to that decision.

Presuming that non-americans don't have their own non-american sites to share their non-american votes on.

The only people interested in CNN the website are people who watch CNN the channel, and to most of the world CNN proved itself to be little more than the white house press release channel in 2002-2003. Noone watches, noone surfs, noone cares.

lol Kerry owned dubya...

I especially liked the end when they asked who Bush would pick for the Supreme Court and he was talking about that Dred Scott case and he said:

"The constitution says... ehm... well the constitution doesn't say that!"

What a dumbass

Bush didn't come off looking "hung over" in this one, he's more comfortable with the format. Last night was interesting but I'm more interested in seeing domestic issues debated outside of the town-hall format on Wed.

Charles Gibson said later that out of the 280 questions submitted to him most were on domestic issues but according to the rules he had to select a balance of domestic and foreign policy questions.

Non-Americans have every right to form opinions about who won the debate. Their opinions, however, are irrelevant since they can't vote. Consequently, these polls don't give an accurate picture of the pulse of the AMERICAN VOTER. They mean absolutely NOTHING.

People are going all apeshit over these fucking polls. When you take into account the fact that 70-80% of Non-Americans prefer Kerry over Bush, it isn't hard to see how Bush could NEVER win any internet popularity polls like these.

just curious, but aren't those numbers severely tainted by a lot of foreigners and others who can NOT vote?

all I care about is polls on likely voters...

There will be so many unlikely voters at the polls this year Bush may blow his brains out.

Ok... so these polls have some foreign voters....The news sources call it a draw... Blah blah fucking blah.

The fact is that the poles online are votes from voters.... if 80% of the people that voted on the polls were American, it's still a representation of the VOTERS. WHo cares what political correspondants think....the majority of voters are not political correspondats. They are middle class people who are sick of Bush's shit!

I didn't think Kerry owned Bush in this last debate. Bush held his own very well. One of the best presentations I've seen from him.

He also speaks clearer to the average American. I think the average American is more comfortable with Bush's style. He's more direct and doesn't give long winded answers that make you wonder if he actually answered the question asked.

But, I guess we'll find out come election time *shrugs*

Electoral Vote Predictor 2004: Kerry 280 Bush 248

The electoral vote is MUCH CLOSER than one might expect if the CNN and MSNBC polls were truly accurate. 70% of the popular vote would most likely translate into a HUGE electoral vote lead. However, Kerry only leads Bush by a few electoral votes, and the major swing states are basically still toss ups (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florda).

John Kerry over President Bush, 47 percent to 45 percent.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/09/snap.poll/
Only 30% of those asked were independant. There were more republicans asked than democrats and they still gave it to kerry. Look at the details.

This is nothing to do with the voting, all it asks is who do you think won. Believe it or not, Americans are not the only ones capable of coming to that decision.
are you sure ?? I don't know sometimes

very true and then liberals wonder what happened.

Just like conservatives prefer talk radio and
liberals perfer music.

then they wonder why liberal talk radio fails.
