Electoral Vote Predictor 2004: Kerry 280 Bush 248

http://www.electoral-vote.com/oct/oct09.png

The electoral vote is MUCH CLOSER than one might expect if the CNN and MSNBC polls were truly accurate. 70% of the popular vote would most likely translate into a HUGE electoral vote lead. However, Kerry only leads Bush by a few electoral votes, and the major swing states are basically still toss ups (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florda).

Debates dont mean shit. Bush can still win the vote

ST. LOUIS, Missouri (CNN) -- There was no clear winner of the second presidential debate, a poll taken late Friday suggests.

A CNN/USA Today/Gallup snap poll taken immediately after the presidential debate Friday night found that respondents gave a slight, statistically insignificant edge to Sen. John Kerry over President Bush, 47 percent to 45 percent.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/09/snap.poll/

Only 30% of those asked were independant. There were more republicans asked than democrats and they still gave it to kerry. Look at the details.

Kerry got my vote all the way.

This is nothing to do with the voting, all it asks is who do you think won. Believe it or not, Americans are not the only ones capable of coming to that decision.

are you sure ?? :winkwink: I don't know sometimes :Graucho

very true and then liberals wonder what happened.

Just like conservatives prefer talk radio and
liberals perfer music.

then they wonder why liberal talk radio fails.

Just where does liberal talk radio fail? Air America kicks Rush's ass in the markets its ran. The only reason there is more conservative talk is because most stations are owned by the Bush supporting Clear Channel. And by the way, don't you find it
amazing with all this conservative propaganda being pushed by talk radio that there are more liberals in this country? You're failing :1orglaugh

My theory on talk radio.

Conservative radio, ala Rush, was the first to hit it really big for a political format. After Rush came tons of clones, who also tend to do pretty well.
One reason why they have large audiences is that even Liberals and those who disagree with the Conservative hosts will still listen to and call into the shows (if they can get past the screeners, but that's a whole other issue).
Conservative listeners, on the other hand, don't have the ability to sit through a Liberal leaning program without smashing their radios in rage.
Thus there will tend to be a larger audience for Conservative radio. The stations themselves need not have a political leaning, as they are following what the market dictates.

Yes, Kerrys recent surge is just starting to show on the chart.

Thank you,

come again.

Interesting theory. Are you trying to say that Conservatives need anger management?

But it would help if he would start using the ENGLISH language as opposed to Klingon!
