I know of PLENTY of people in this business who made fortunes legitimately and without being rude to ANYONE. I take great offense to anyone saying that you have to cheat or commit fraud in order to get ahead in this business. The TRULY "smart" people don't need to resort to that.

Numero Uno I had no intentions of doing that to no one, as I stated blantly many times. I did not use the logo, I was going to but then I scrapped what I was gonna use it for, so why should I pay? I didn't use it. Believe me if I would of used it he would of got his money, I've done business on here before with many people and they all have been sucessful transactions that we're completed, but I didnt use the logo so why should I pay? and why should I waste anymore time defending myself for no reason?

You should pay because it's the right thing to do. The designers that entered your contest did so in good faith. They took time out of their busy schedules to enter a contest, which by the way had a really low prize, basically to do you a favor.
