Sponsors Lowering Payouts?
How will the release of SP2 affect the payouts of affiliates over the next 3 months? Are we going to see a lot of CF PPS ONLY and Revshare options?

It's going to be rough on sponsors
if a sponsor comes out and says "we're lowering payouts" (no matter what the reason) affiliates will flee like rats to any sponsors who promises not to cut payouts (even if they are accidently "forgetting" to count every signup that comes through) I think there will be a lot more in-house traffic generated and the typical affiliate program will change. It's going to get harder and harder for sponsors to keep up with the same payouts when the margins are less. will be interesting to see what happens and which direction this industry moves in from here.

I find it very interesting that ARS just launched a $40 payout system.

I am not pointing this to anyone but let me ask you this. How can some companies have such high payouts if they aren't shaving? They are taking a loss of 10 ? 15 dollars per signup if they give out 35-40 a signup.

ARS is not a typical sponsor, it's a multimillion operation that has been ahead for years. The average sponsor is not even close by joke on knowledge when it comes to paysites. I've seen ARS in the past testing and tweaking exits and consoles in real time on their program and monitoring results like none else.
I can see several programs having problems through time. |

Those of you that thing you have to shave to pay $30 or $40 per signup need to investigate more into how a paysite makes money.

FHM, no doubt, i agreed on that too, but every sponsor is different. I'm questioning myself how some can payout $35+ without shaving and that's why I never touch them.
