    Flip Flopping for dummies

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said in a speech that he knew of no clear link between the al-Qaida terror network and Saddam Hussein, although he later backed off the statement and said he was misunderstood.

Asked at an appearance Monday at the Council on Foreign Relations to describe the connection between the Iraqi leader and the al-Qaida terror network, the Pentagon chief first refused to answer, then said: "To my knowledge, I have not seen any strong, hard evidence that links the two"

    Today :

    "Cheney avows al-Qaida, Saddam link"

Damn If they're lying all the day can't they just stay on one version?

And they figure if they can confuse the public, they can get away with anything they want. So far they have.

Which is why we should vote 3rd parties to put pressure on the 2 main parties to implement instant runoff voting, which would solve a great deal of the corruption by increasing scrutiny.

It doesn't matter who you vote for, at the end of the day the voting systems in florida etc can still screw up the system like last time

Right, like a 3rd party candidate is incapable of lying.

I am not against 3rd parties, however I think it is pure ignorance when people automatically assume just because a candidate runs on a 3rd party ballot that makes them some how morally superior to anyone else.

3rd party candidates are also politicians.
