How Important Is The Comfort Of Your Work Area?
At my studio I have a nice cushy leather chair and a very comfortable and ergonomic desk. I get a lot if not all of my work done at the studio. At home I have an old wood desk that sits low and it not to comfortable. I only log into my home computer for one thing; GFY.
It's makes me wonder. I think by adding some comfort to my home office it would make me much more productive. I have to sell this desk but I paid $1200 for it. ![]()

I think the more comfortable your work environment at home is the better your chances for getting work done, certainly no one wants to sit at a messy table and in a chair that gives you back problems.
But working from home you also cant assume that a good working environment = increased productivity, alot of the work you do from home depends on your character and whether or not you are willing to put in the couple of hours or more at home, even with all of the distractions that you have, TV, cooking, eating, friends, neighbors, girlfriends, etc. |

It's very important.
I'm sitting in another office right now away from my own...with a horrible chair and I'm having to get up every few minutes to stretch my back..it hurts like a mother fucker and I know I'm just not as productive as I could be. |
