For a single girl site, you can usually get by with very few videos, especially if you rotate clips in and out. For general sites, not having video would make it difficult to survive.
What about microniches? For example, big breasted Asian teens. A site like this would have fewer competitors and might be able to get by with fewer videos. I'm not saying NO videos, just very few. Advertise it like a photoclub site, with the emphasis being on exclusive pics. If things start rolling, add some plug ins for the video content.
