Seems a huge number of webmasters are in complete denial sometimes.

Don't let optimism be the death of you.

"I try to make a habit of bouncing my eyes up to the face of a beautiful woman, and often repeat “not mine” in my head or even verbally. She’s not mine. God has her set aside. She’s not mine. She’s His little girl, and she needs me to fight for her by keeping my eyes where they should be."

I just had a very similar conversation with someone on ICQ:

tipsy: ibill - how on earth can people be in that much denial when the facts are staring them in the face and oh so obvious?
other guy: its like chearing for your soccer team even though it's about to be dropped from the premier division back to a 3rd grade county comp
tipsy: yep and when it's the last game of the season and they're trailing in the table by 20 points
        other guy: yep

iBill going down is a huge problem for many people but for fucks sake. Unless you start facing facts and acting to prevent as much damage as possible you'll simply go down too. Blind faith has no place in good business.

simple, lack of business sense. they got into a business that was growing and even with an insane amount of new competition coming in there was money to be made by everyone. once its time to adjust, they can't or simply won't.

You've only to look at 50% of the electorate to see that

I find it hard to believe people weren't on the mad rush to set up another processor when they first heard the news. That would have been the first thing I started working on.
