Online Casinos -- do they work?

Read some discussions on which one to use...but wanted to know if you can make money promoting them? There suppose to be a big business, but does a surfer actually click on your banner and start gambling?

Post your success stories here...

I've had a lot of success promoting www.ezsportpicks.com

Which is a sports handicapping site, some what similar to a casino, but not exactly.

Casino is business!
But promotion, they have all been burned to much, so most of them have their own promotionteams.

Casino is mostly visited trough search engines.

I own http://www.9ugcasino.com and through my experiance most of the people go will actualy only play the free games. The best thing that you could do to promote is buy a top listing on search engine like goto. But overall, they suck ass.

Just from my experience, casinos don't work well with porno content. Had fucking kick ass results with them with stock market content though =)

Sorry to burst your bubble but GoTo has a filter that weeds out same click over a set time from same IP. They also have other antifraud measures.

I tell you... many casinos are fair and you can win at these too... I used to own and run a very successful casino portal site a few years back (until I sold it) and I used to play at casinos all the time. I felt that one of the fairest I played at was Intercasino (thier multiplayer games are cool) and golden palace. You will find that there are probably about 15 (maybe more) actual software providers out there that provide the software to the thousands of casinos, so you need to find the best TYPE of software that suits you (or that you think is fair and you win on). I recommend the software that goes with intercasino and golden palace (there are 2 different ones here)... of course, there are some TERRIBLE ones out there too!

Am I making ANY sense at all?

Oh... and to answer the original question ( )...

Yes, you used to be able to make a ton of money promoting casinos but the market is so tight now that it is getting more and more difficult. It really was a case of getting in early (ie. 3-4 years ago), and porn traffic never converted well anyway!...

That being said, you can make good money off them still with the right type of traffic!

as Scoobs said, casinos need their own type of traffic, porn converts also, but not that good. If anyone is interested in starting a real casino business he can message me on icq #100985067. My partner released a great casino software in the best prize on the market, about $40.000. He worked with a top team of programmers and the results are very good. Messaged me and i'll spam you with more details
Lensman, this sounds good business area for you, if you're not already into it

unless you use software that is starnet, or of that stature and quality and is knows by a lot of people, then you are out of getting any players who are gambling junkies, they all like the real known software packages and don't risk on some unknown program.

the package was developed after a long term research and is directed by a person that is in this business from day one. I'm sure in the near future will be an established stantard

concering starnet, they're one of the bigest companies on this, but their games are not the best. We're willing to compare the software packages and the market prices. Also, the easiest thing is to build his reliability of the casino. The situation is kind of similar with adult sponsors.

How many of the Casinos are using E-Gold? I have some ideas for games but would rather not fuck around w/ all kinds of legal bullshit.

most of them ask from $300k-500k and the majority of them offering old software packages, that's insane,i wonder if they'll sell any from now on.

A casino for spectrum will be a good to gain from nostalgic users like me

I guess they claim that sports betting is a lot more profitable. Thanks for all the input! If porn traffic doesn't convert, I guess you are referring to SE traffic (basically paid listings these days, lol).

if you mean Paul,he's exactly the opposite than me, he never posts on boards and he's always working on some project. On the other hand, I spend most of my time on boards and do works occasionally The possitive thing is that the last three weeks i have done some serious works, kind of rare situation...
