All nice and sweet, but how do you add your website to their database?
We did not seem to find it on their site, only the partnerprogram could be found there.

Do you have to buy a spot?

How much traffic you get from search engines; depends on;
Your listing; top 10? -> lot of traffic
Quality of your keywords; ->
Lets say "Teen porn" is better then "teenage porno"
YOUR SITE CONVERTS BETTER IF YOUR KEYWORDS ARE BETTER! if you got a fetish site, a keywords like "sex" is not realistic.

I get a ton of SE traffic for a pornstar that shall remain nameless. Otherwise, I get a fair amount of teen "cherry popping" "teen virgins" type of traffic.

I get a couple thousands but obviously from the wrong SE's as it doesn't convert as it used to do in the good ole days. I'm doing solely SE's (almost) and according to my calculations 3 years when I was making $500 a day just through one (mid size) SE I am a multi millionaire today, but somehow I'm still not. Even Yahoo traffic, where I have a good amount of, sucks AND isn't bringing in THAT much traffic as one might think (although I have some really decent rankings there). AOL is the best converting that I am aware of but don't have a lot of it. I don't even try Altavista anymore since they have the 5 million sponsored links before the "real" listings, that engine is already dead IMHO. Even a #1 for sex wouldn't bring in much there anymore I guess. Still have to see how google will do, working on it . I'm too late for goto I think since all terms are already bought. Still have to see where THE traffic (good and lots of) is coming from nowadays. Hopefully google, because it can be done there (getting good ranking without paying).

</depressive rant>

goto.com sucks,
all keywords are bought by the same companies.
There's not very much quality traffic there.

What about google.com .
They have some program to buy listing by keyword but the make you pay by mile not by the amount of people that clicked the link to your site..
I wonder how much from 1000 visitors for a keyword will actually click on your link ?

Don't waste your money on the Google Ad Words program. It doesn't convert good at all!

Yeah but it decreases with every week, looks like AOL is putting new dmoz sites at the top and with the new update every 2-3 weeks the next new sites get the top rankings, just like a tgp
