Still not a bad giveaway those with heavy signup traffic can benefit quite nicely

30 days in a month * 10 signups = 300 signups billed 30$ = 9000$

Div by 50% for affils they're making $4500 which I guess is enough for an IPOD + laptop

So I'd definitely promote these guys on October 31st and beyond depending on their conversions.

I think they're also hoping that most people dont buy porn on Halloween

Yeah, I'm speculating most people will be driving their kids around the neighborhood, handing out candy, or at halloween parties.

Your numbers are totally off. The signups are free signups. You get paid $28 per join. It's possible that none of the joins you send convert to paid accounts and therefore it would cost them $280 plus the laptop.
