I provide webhosting and do backups by just zipping files and sending them to a gmail account, I have over 400 gmail accounts worth of backups.

I mostly use mine when I sign up for shit that I think they are going to spam me. If Google wants to waste their time reading all my spam then I'll give them a few other accounts to read too.
