Anyone know of any real cheap domain registrars? Less than $10 per year is preferred.
Thanks in Advance, pimplink |

I use buydomains.com. You can register domain names for $16 per year with domain forwarding. (change url forwarding anytime you want) Find a affiliate program, then create a domain name that fits that affiliate niche and they will send the hits directly to your affilate program. They even have a meta tag feature for search engines which you can change anytime you want. You can even get listed TWICE on search engines just by submitting your domain name with http://(www).jduryeht.com or http://jduryeht.com
Imagine if you had 100 or 1000 domain names! With this service, you don't have to CREATE a web site or or build new pages to promote your favorite sponsor! All you have to do is find domain names that fit. Com, Net, Org, ect. It works!!! Uncle Sam is very happy with my results!!! |

Try http://www.mydomain.com/
They offer regs for 14.95 with almost endless features such as URL forwarding, IP forwarding, email forwarding, MX and CNAME records etc. etc. Plus I believe if you want to buy a lot of names (like 100+) they'll be happy to cut you a special deal. |

GoDaddy Experience...
In late July... I found GoDaddy and thought I would check it out, so... I had a domain that I was interested in regestering. So I did a lookup on it from their site. The domain was available but I did not register it at that time because I did not know what sort of functions were available, DNS, etc. Two days later, I decided to register the domain from DirectNIC, the registrar that I have all my other domains with. GUESS WHAT? Yep, the domain was TAKEN. So, I did a look up on it and GUESS WHO registered it? Yep, its friggin parked at friggin GoDaddy! Was it legal... yes. Would I trust that registrar with domains? Nah huh. |

Try http://www.powerpipe.com/ ! They are just $8.88/yr ($7.99 bulk) and have all those fancy features as forward, mail, MX/CNAME, etc... They are in fact resellers for enom.com and thats good. I use DirectNIC, Stargate and PP. All are OK, but DirectNIC is %15/yr and changing records with Stargate seems to be a bit slow sometimes.

I have had problems with an enom reseller. Not so much the reseller (registerfly - I do NOT recommend them) but more for enom.com themselves. They have "executives" that have access to their system that will go in and hijack/suspend domains at will without any type of notification beforehand.
Stargateinc is a pain when it comes to changing the registered name (i.e. the owner name). Sorry I have no good recommends. |

AWC,
If it was parked at godaddy, anyone could have registered it. I have domains parked there. Now if godaddy actually registered it thats a different story. |
