I knew Americans would see right through Bush's bullshit when they took the time to listen to it. That was the first time we got an unbiased view of Kerry and Bush at the same time and the people are speaking!
The only thing is, these numbers will probably change over the next couple days. You'll get people voting who didn't watch it, people who just got their impression from the pundits. :helpme |

As far as passion from Bush, I saw some feigned pauses and emotion. None of which sounded real. Same with Kerry, tho not as much considering Kerry is pretty monotone. |

I don't think I'd use the word 'plastered'. He did win though. But so fucking what! Do you think one debate is going to have that much of an impact? ----------------- Um..in a word.. YES! |

Don't hate me for pointing out how stupid your posts are, I'm just the messenger.

Yes, the poll is not scientific, but everyone with just a bit of knowledge of polling knows this fundamental principle. The more people you have in your poll, the more indicative it is of true public opinion.
|
Read this pool, it is a sample of 1000 likely voters.
LINK Is this more scientific or accurate than a poll with 600K online votes? I don think so. |

:1orglaugh :1orglaugh no doubt, I imagine some think bush pulled off a win on that one, but I have yet to find someone other than boobmaster or maybe 12clicks that think that was so... this is coming from someone with a majority of republicans in the family/friend circle... |
And the world will be a safer place...

The debate tonite (now yesterday) demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt that the current occupant of the White House is armed with Weapons of Mass Distraction and it's time for a REGIME CHANGE!

Hey you have to hand it to Kerry ..tan and all he looks a lot better now and man he outpointed Bush the whole way. How many times can Bush repeat the same bs. Remember a C student at Yale which is basically a point above failing out as you can sleep through college and get a C.

I hope Kerry wins... but somehow I'm still the pessimist and think somehow, some way, there will be an 'upset' and bush will win in the end.

Preface - I'm still for Bush.
Taht said, he did lose the debate. John Kerry slipped in around the rules of the debate VERY skillfully, and it's now official - GW has a defeat on his record. Not to say he (kerry) cheated by any means, he just used the platform to his advantage like a seasoned vet should. Did Fox News report that GW won by 99.999%? I haven't checked, but I highly doubt it. Sounds like a falsification to me. Not to pick a fight, but it seems to me that if anybodies point of view is to be taken seriously, they should refrain from twisting facts and distorting the truth. Example - stocktrader23 - in your sig: Flip ~"I don't think you can win [the war on terror]." [President Bush, 8/30/04] PLEEEEEEEEASE do me a favor and tell me and everyone else reading this that that quote is not taken out of context! I'd love to argue the finer points of that one :winkwink: I don't have a beef with you in particular, so no offense meant, and all is fair in love and war as they say - but facts are facts and that quote is misleading to say the least. Also, if anybody is to base a forecast to this election based on polls and statistics - Presidential Debates are fun and all, but they rarely make a significant impact in the actual elections. That's my :2 cents: |
Bush will win the same way as last time: Coup
