I don't know anything about this program but I think after 2-1/2 years I know Baddog.

Yes he is a self promoter. That's marketing. That's how me makes a living - and a honest one at that.

I can tell you he is always there day and night to help you and never once have I heard of him doing anything dishonest to or with anyone in the biz.

Yeah he does make me laugh too.

Wish everyone in the biz was a upfront and mature and he is.

I can think of a few adjectives to describe baddog...

Down-to-earth, helpful, direct, outspoken, speak-his-mind kinda guy....rude just isn't one them though. I'm just glad he's around -- he's constant and that is a wonderful quality in my books.

Sweetums is actually from the actual Muppets Show (one of my all-time fave's as a kid) although he's an obscure character. He's big and hairy....carries Kermit's nephew around or somethin'.

Well BradM works for me and baddog likes to give him a hard time, so I'll always have his back. :) I'm sure baddog is an okay guy, not like I care either way. I thought Brad was a good friend of yours? Maybe -you- need to read the board more.

Maybe you do too.

Brad's posts sometimes leave him open to attack, to say the least. Don't get me wrong I'm cerainly okay with the guy, but I've seen a few posts were he comes off as.... well, kind of mouthy actually. If a few people took issue with that I would hardly call them rude.

In comparing Baddog and myself, I'd say I am the ruder of the two. :Graucho

ah, so this is the reason . . .and here I thought you had me confused with p1mpdogg or something.

Well, this makes it easier. Just because your little punk boy toy gets his feelings hurt because I call him out on his idiotic bullshit (ie: I am not going to post here anymore if (fill in the blank) does), and then does not follow thru, or some other idiocy makes me rude in your eyes, then so be it. I could care less.

However, before you start taking stances based on the tears of some 19 year old boy that got owned, you might want to investigate just a little deeper.

Yes, you have lost potential business as a result of this. See, one of the companies I am part of does SEO to promote tangible goods, like fastsize, so that we can send in bulk orders for those producers.

While fastsize was on the list of potential products to promote, it was scratched off the list within minutes of your "baddog is so rude" comments. I know, potential business is not lost business. Funny thing. I got this ICQ the same night "oh damn that Brian guy is on my icq. he operates fastsize.com . . . I just looked at his sig and there is no referer code so I checked and realised where I had seen that icq number before . . . hmm time to drop his program if he can't tell you why you are so rude."

My response to her was "maybe he doesn't like me because I get in his boys face (BradM)"

Oh well, it is only a couple of business ops, right?

It is admirable that you have your boys back, but you might want to pay a little more attention to what he says if you are going to put your business nect on the chopping block as a result of his comments.

What are you? 12? 13? Just because you are friends with, or like someone does not mean you have to agree with everything they say. . . . or that their boss says.

You think that if you say I am rude, she should agree because BradM is her friend and your employee?

I see now why Brad doesn't like you either. :)

If your business word hinges on people calling you rude on GFY, well then that speaks for itself.

2XY 10-03-2004 01:30 PM

So Brian, do you not like Baddog because BradM doesn't like him? Or do you have a personal beef with him?

Just seems somewhat strange that you would stick your neck out for a worker of yours that will eventually end up jumping the ship if he finds a better opportunity elsewhere.

Both. I thought spamming ecommerceglobal on GFY the day when IBill lost their VISA processing was in extremely poor taste.

Why would Brad jump ship? He has a great opportunity here, and he knows that.

nah, it doesn't hinge on it at all . . . but I do prefer to do business with people I feel have some intelligence . . . besides, I would not want to insult you by offering to do business with someone so rude that you feel "anyone that pays him to endorse their service needs to have their head examined" because indeed, that is what I would be doing. Right? Endorsing your product to the masses. Nah, I would not want to put you in the situation where you would need to get your head examined.

Besides, there are too many other companies clamoring to be promoted to waste my time on someone that doesn't even like me.

You think it is poor taste to offer people an alternative when their billing processor is no longer processing or paying? I prefer to think of it as a service, a tip, or maybe an opportunity.

Hey now Baddog is a great and intelligent person, I don't think anyone should come out so strong like that against him, especially on a board.
Take your issues directly to the person, don't go and post bullshit, hidding as such, very weak.

It's a matter of one's opinion and you've expressed yours.

Isn't this a message forum? Just because you have no issues with Baddog and you like the guy doesn't mean that others feel the same way as you or are posting bullshit.

For the record, I don't know Baddog and the other posters personnally or professionally so I am purely neutral on the issues raised in this thread.

My personal experience with baddog over 5 years.

He's a rude fucker, brash, says what's on his mind.

He's also been in this biz for quite a long time, and making more money every year.

I finally got to meet him last year face to face.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but it's all an act. Baddog is the opposite of his online personna. He's a great fucking guy.

Not jumping on her bro. I am neutral on this.

Just simply pointing out that even if the majority of the people agree with her, there will always be some that disagree.

I agree with her for the most part. People should email others in private to work out their issues. But if they feel like taking it to the board, then so be it. Her saying that they are posting bullshit, hiding, or is weak is just a matter of her own opinion based on her experience working with you. She has no knowledge of your dealings with other people and why they dislike you...so why make comments that are unnecessary?
