Kerry was more convincing, took the debate in his hands and forced Bush into the ropes.
Nice one!

i think kerry did an excellent job
but talking is one thing

Nasty D 09-30-2004 07:38 PM

Kerry owned Bush

"You can be certain, but you can be wrong"

Bush won't change even if its right to do so.

that was a good response
however kerry i dont think has the proper qualities for a leader

All personal bias aside, I agree with Russert's summary. That there were no real knockouts (definately some points scored, but no TKO), BUT that now we have a pretty clear idea of what each would do/stand for on the subject of the debate (primarily IRAQ and the war on terror).

From that view, Kerry gained, as this was one of the big concerns on the part of a lot of people. I'm not pro Bush, but I knew where he stood. Now I feel I got where Kerry stands articulated clearly.

That's the biggest thing to come out of this, IMHO - two different views on a course of action, pretty clearly stated, which gives swing voters a choice and something to think about.

First of all, being prepared is 100% the most important thing when you are a leader, or hold any position with responsibility.

Second, Bush speaking directly is never a good thing for Republicans because he sounds like a fucktard! :)

adis55 09-30-2004 09:30 PM

kerry did in fact impress a lot of people today.

bush is over and done with.

Please answer that.

Speak a full sentence with out stuttering for one.

Kerry runs circles around bush because he understands the issue better. Bush can't think for himself

Was a great night for Kerry pretty clearly from what I've seen.

If you didnt watch it on C-Span, you missed the priceless moments where bush finished his glass of water. Then he sipepd from a new glass.
Then he picked up the old glass and drank his backwash.
Then he picked up the empty glass *again* and put it back down and picked up the second glass he'd started 3 sips ago.

Clearly the glass was fully empty on his side :)

SpikeHeel 09-30-2004 09:55 PM

Poor GW has been sooooo owned....
Even if you are a fucktard that's gonna vote for dubya, go to cnn, nbc and cbs and check the results of the polls regarding who won the debate... In fact, go ahead and vote for him, so that the current results don't feel so much as a slap.
90% average for Kerry, talk about being owned...

venus 09-30-2004 10:28 PM

must be a small space up there, he keeps saying the same thing instead of answering Kerry, all he says is kerry keeps flip flopping ..

but Kerry nailed Bush's ass, Bush said we went to war against the people who attacked us, Kerry said, ummm no one in iraq attacked us, bin laden did, but you let him get away.
