I agree....everybody has different tastes, but that was presicely my point.
I don't typically get into the fat debates unless it's to say that, but I just thought it fucked up he came into your thread and was rude. That's like crashing someone's party and then insulting their house or something....
And he didn't just say something like, not my type, but I'll give you a vote, or whatever. He told you to change your nick because he thought you weren't sexy....a bit arrogant, no? Big turn-off.
However, I came across pretty strong, too, when I responded. (At least my comments were in response to something said and not appearance, but still....) And Ross' response after yours was much nicer. So I'll withdraw my insults.
I just don't think being on a message board should mean you can behave badly and say things you would never say in RL to a stranger. But whatever...I guess my Momma taught me better manners than many others, lol.

Anyway, Ross, I apologize for insulting you....on the grounds that you subsequent response sounded much less like a dickhead, so maybe you aren't all that bad. I try to keep my head on straight when people start insulting big girls, but sometimes it gets under my skin, and I've had a very, very bad week (Hurricane, Husband got fired, Husband moved out b/c he failed a UA for social services, and I'm desperately trying to build my income while caring for 4 kids all alone) so I guess I got touchy. I don't care who'se attracted to big girls here....but I don't understand why people have to be so rude towards the ones that post here. We are people you know, and other than that one thing, and that doesn't affect anyone we aren't fucking, we are just like you, and we are worth every bit as much any supermodel....just ask our kids or husbands ;). I believe you got the brunt of my frustration, and that isn't fair.

you're right. Even though im not stick thin I am still a woman with feelings and I am appreciated a lot by by boyfriend and my family (no kids as yet hehe).

And its not as if I am that big as in unhealthy. I actually eat very healthily and have lost 50lbs already :) I am trying to get thinner but not because of the media or comments like that.. its because I am concious of healthy eating and living :)
