Logo for a mainstream jewelry site- Must be usable for Web and Print, resizable, all that.

Site is http://www.weekendjewelry.com (in progress, so please don't tell me about our fuckups, I am adjusting it by the minute...lolol)

Current Logo is on the index page. This is Jen's logo so please be nice in any criticism (Jenny pays the bills and picks the winner). But the logo gives you an idea of the direction she is trying to go. Weekend, informal, relaxed, comfortable.

Winner gets $100.00 via Paypal
Deadline is Next Thursday at 6:00 Central Time. Payment will be made Thursday night if there is a winner and the funding from my bank to paypal has gone through (I normally keep it unfunded so I transferred in about 10 minutes ago and they say 3-4 days, so it should be in there by Thursday) Payment by check can be arrannged for non paypal folk.

Again, same rules apply as contest 1. We think we will get something usable out of it, in which case, we pick one we like and winner gets the entire $100.00

In the case that Jen does not like any of them, a combined vote (Here and at Oprano) will be taken among the members of the respective boards and the top 4 will get $25 each and we will not use the design. The vote will be on a curve, in that it will be based on a percentage of voters on each board to stop one board from putting their favorite in place over another board. You would be able to vote one time on each board.

If I left any details that you want to know out then please post in this thread.

and anyone else who might feel that same way. We know it is low for a mainstream logo, but I decided that we would offer it up this way first and only on Oprano and here. If we are going to go the price it would usually take, then we would also be looking at mainstream only designers.

I personally think it is a chance for some of those folk that have only been doing adult stuff and want to get a mainstream logo or two out there to show their stuff. I could be wrong about that though

It really wasn't targeted towards the big boys.
