The two search features are far worse than the original one.
It's not my board so I won't make the BradM mistake and tell Lensman how to run it, but I am also quite disappointed that the search feature isn't back yet....I don't use ICQ anymore.Comment

I'm not telling anyone how to run this board, but from what I understand it makes plenty of money every month.. so what are the posible reasons for not taking care of it? sometimes it really seems like the wild west. I know when post counts are high, the impressions are high and advertisers are happy.. but when most of those impressions are trolls and surfers.. who does it help? In most cases it just turns off the real webmasters and then everybody loses. Someone explain this to me?Comment

This thread needs a bump.
I don't watch this board as avidly as some people but I haven't seen a clear explanation as to why there is no search.
There should be a "pinned" topic continuously updating the status of any efforts to bring back a search function.
One of the great features of this board is how much industry knowledge it contains, and that knowledge is not accessible without the search.
