Need a windows box to run a few things

How much will it cost?

i wont be using much bandwidth (i dont know.. 10 megs a day?)

but i need to run some proxy analyzing programs on it, and maybe a chat bot or two.. nothing hardcore like mailers or anything

my connection here at university limits me to # of open connections (like 50) and its slow as fuck at times. i cant ping proxies or anything, and if i were to open up a chatbot, i wouldnt be able to do anyhting else

hit me up on ICQ if youve got something, it has to be windows, relatively fast (at least somewhat modern, no 800mhz boxes please), nt preferred (2000 or xp)

i know, but theyve got windows 2003.. (rather use something like xp.. this isnt going to be a 'server' server per se..)

what do they mean by '(web)' beside the windows 2003 name?

will i have full access to this box, run any programs i like etc?

since i wont be needing much bandwidth, should i just get the 1MBPS one? ($25 a month)

for that lil bandwidth, can't you just use the space your ISP provides?

All the programs that run on xp should be supported on win2003. xp is not a good op system to run a server on.

You can find descriptions on this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003
Probably limits support for DRM/streaming for a start.
