Focus on the customer, not the product.

When advertising a site, try to appeal to the senses of the customer, instead focusing on the site. Using text links in conjunction with a banner is always a good idea. However, if it?s a generic text link that focuses more on the site, chances are it won?t be that successful. Instead of using a ?10,000 hardcore photos? text link, which describes the site, try something unique that will catch the surfers attention and appeal to their senses like ?More porn than you can shake your dick at.? While both of these links are describing the same feature of a site, the latter one is more personal and prescribes to the AIDA formula (Attention, Interest, Desire Action).

Spend time wisely.

Spend more time on planning rather than acting. Simply taking a banner your sponsor provides and linking it to the site will not produce very good results. Take some time to plan and figure out a way to appeal to the customer. Once you do this, you will realize better results, with less time, energy, and stress.

The rule of seven.

It takes approximately seven exposures before a customer becomes familiar with you. It then takes another seven exposures before they are comfortable enough to make a purchase. Based on this rule, focus your energies on marketing to these targeted customers, rather than trying several approaches for a broad audience. Many believe the reason why sites such as Kara?s XXX (Max Cash), Busty-Amateurs (now Cold Sex), and Amateur Pages have been so successful is partly because of the amount of webmasters that advertise these sites. A regular porn surfer is prone to have seen these ads on numerous sites and occasions. Not only is the site being advertised a lot, but it allows their webmasters to use their content for free, this also creates exposure and popularity for the models and content they have.

In conclusion, choose a site with good exposure, spend time wisely and plan a marketing campaign focusing on the customer. Following these three key points will improve your conversion ratios.
