Well, this kinda tells me that I am/was not banned by google at all. And it sure looks as a manually written email to me.

Though, I never got included in their listing as of today ... I have even tried calling them, hired and SEO expert, nothing helps.

If google find that you try to cheat the way it generates the good site order you will most likely get banned.

Just follow their main rule "Just don't do anything that you wouldn't do when we wouldn't exist" :thumbsup

Basicly staying away from doorway pages, cloaking, heavy interlinking etc. etc.

It's been 0/10 after I got that email though ...

Easy, use a cloacker with 20k pages on a domain, and you are on a good way to get banned ;)

Or do a old fashion way referer spam , a second chance to get banned to ;)

Google has a list of what it considers "black hat" SEO. If a site is engaging in these techniques, it will be banned.

I don't see the problem, it's very hard to get significant SE traffic on a Thumb Preview TGP anyway. If you can get a few hundred consider yourself lucky. Long gallery descriptions generate far more SE traffic.

Plenty of guys who like your site don't know how to bookmark - instead they type your domain into google and click on the first link. For that reason it's significant if you drop out of the listings completely. :2 cents:
