Bummer with the Senseo, and all other "pod" coffee makers, is that you're forever locked into their proprietary coffee bundles. As of now, there are only 4 flavors available - mild, medium, dark and decaf. You need 2 pods to make a full 2-cup batch, and they are the cheapest. If it doesn't catch on in the US, those pods might get harder to find.
The Senseo is cool for an occassional cup of crema topped coffee, but I'll stick to other methods for daily use. |
I have one too and I fucking love it. Buy one of these reusable filters and you'll be able to make any kind of coffee you want.
