My Girlfriend Jill Died Tuesday (R.I.P)...Design me a tattoo

My girlfriend, my soul mate, my true love Jill Doucette passed away on Tuesday at the tender age of 24. 3 hours after she left my bedside to go to work. In my sleepy daze I can't even remember if I told her that I loved her before she left me for good. She was the greatest girl. It all feels like a dream now, someone that perfect does not belong on this earth. I am a man of little faith, but for her sake I truly hope there is an afterlife...to be taken at such a young age just doesn't make sense.
'
I still remember how she used to sit behind me and laugh at all the crazy things that people post on here....she encouraged me everyday of my life to chase my dream. Tuesday after her burial....I will begin to chase that dream but I will never forget her.

I need your help
Can someone please help me with a tattoo design. I am getting it over my left shoulder blade. Not something that I will be able to see all the time, but I will know its there. I still remember the conversation when I joked with her if she would ever get my name tattooed on her. She said "No i hate tattoos" and I replied what if I was to die.....to which she said "Stop talking like that" and when I pressured her she said "Yes of course"

I am not really a tattoo person so nothing too big.

It can have a heart or something similar
I want it wider than it is taller (4x2, 3x2)
The following words and stuff have to be included.

"My Love, My Angel"
"Jill Doucette"
The date of her birth August 29, 1980 her death September 21st 2004 in any format

Nothing too extreme

Thank you guys, I don't need any discouragement only words of enouragement and condolence need respond.

This will be a great help....does it make me a pussy for ballin my eyes out while i type this?

That's fucking insane bro, I am very sorry for your loss, there are no words to describe the pain you must have right now. You may want to find a good tattoo artist in your area and ask him to design it, he may be able to give you more of what you want. Something with that much text in it may be hard to re-do.. I say ask the tattoo artist to make one.

Once again very sorry, if you need to chat or something icq me

my condolences... but from seeing friends do things like get tatoos lik that, i'd say you will have problems your whole life with GF's, fiance's, wives, one night stands with a tat like that... you feel it hard, now.. but wait a year or so and see if you feel the same... more than likely your next serious GF will be forcing you to cover it up...

So sorry for your loss, bro.

It is so hard to lose somone you love, especially at such a young age.

I will try to come up with a design to at least give you some ideas ... but I agree that you should most likely have the tatoo artist do the final design. I just don't know the tat/ink medium very well.

My prayers to you man.

Damn, that sucks, truly sorry to hear it.

I wonder if you might be better served by having a tattoo artist design it. There are great designers here, but I think a tattoo person would have a better feel for how big the letters should be to still be legible when they blur over time etc. They may suggest paring down the words or enlarging the space.

Very sorry to hear that, sucks things like this happen.

But unless you plan to be single the rest of your life.... pu thte tat on hold or find another way to keep her close to you. There are many ways you could do this without getting a tat

Put up a memorial page for her on the web.

Kman has actually given you some good advice, and he's right. There WILL be another woman in your life eventually, and the kind of tat you're considering isn't going to sit well no matter who the woman is.

Think about it. Consider the memorial page. There are plenty of online memorial sites on the web if you need it done and hosted for you.

that's tragic, my condolenses to you and her family and friends.

it's nice what you want to do but some people in this thread have given you some good advice. if you're going to do the tattoo, i'd do it smaller - some symbol that represents her spirit and beauty, and maybe a small 1980-2004 underneath it - a small rose or something.

what happened to her?
