I see these as a great idea.

It seems easer than doing it yourself.

And I bet they can sell it better (i.e. make more cash) than if you do it yourself.

Plus I would not want to send money to someone I did not know, but would feel more confident about buying from one of these shops.

yes. a lot of small businesses in my area (near Washington DC) are offering similar services. one of my business partners is opening up a drop service. auctiondrop is clear leader, but most importantly EBAY supports and recommends these type of services. they encourage ppl to open/use businesses like this. It's amazing that EBAY is it's own industry with sub-industries being created just to cater to it. Plus buyers feel more secure buying from these large Drop services.
