My FUCKING Neighbors
I have these neighbors that are Hispanic. They are really nice to me, but they drive me nuts with their habits. I'm all about some partying on the weekend, don't get me wrong. However, I don't bust glass bottles on the sidewalk and leave condom wrappers in the grass.
There is, of course, the language barrier. They don't always understand what I'm asking them or saying to them, and I don't know how to get across that I don't want my kids to cut their feet open on the glass on the sidewalk. I also don't want to come across as a bitch.
The Management at my apartment complex has pretty much told me that they don't have an interpreter so it's up to me to do mediation myself. I wouldn't mind if I knew Spanish, but i Mi espanol es muy malo!
HELP! What should I say or do to convey my concerns?
