if you go wireless on the mouse get the mx700, it has recharagable batteries and a cradle/dock that acts as a charger

It's alright, but I still just sit at my desk, so I could be using a regular mouse and keyboard. My mouse came with 2 regular alkaline batteries... I soon went to rechargable. There is one at walmart that comes with charger and 4 rechargable batteries for like 14 bucks. It even comes with a car charger.

but how about accuracy of the mouse and how sensitive they are?

wireless vs non-wireless ... are they comparable?

of course you still sit at your desk, but you don't have the wires getting in the way. the mx700 is better since you don't have to take the batteries out each time to charge them, just have to dock it on the cradle

I tried them a couple of years ago and they ate batteries like crazy. I went back to good old wired mouse/keyboard and I've never looked back.

I've tried many different wireless keyboards and mice, and mostly prefer Logitech. I like the wireless keyboards, but find that the extra weight of the battery in the wireless mouse is harder on my hand and the wired mouse is easier to move quicker because its less bulky.

You can pick up the sweetest deals on the web on wireless Logitech products at Just Deals Just click input devices on the left menu. The prices are so cheap, I bought a bunch of different wireless products to try on my multiple pcs.

A couple of years ago right after xmas Logitech gave away 20,000 cordless MX duos (kb and mouse) and I was lucky enuff to get one. I love it. Dont even have to have the software installed with XP. Mouse eats a set of batteries about every 4 or 5 days, but I buy the cheap ones for 16@$1 so im not out all that much money. Never had a problem with the reciever except it wouldnt work on my old machine (K6 2-450) Mouse isnt TOO sensitive. Perfect pair. Thinking bout upgrading soon tho. You know... latest greatest and all that lol

Ive tried them all no BS I have been using wireless shit since day one. Logitech and Microsoft (I know!) are the best. Microsoft is hands down the best mouse and the batteries last forever in the new elite models.

I hate them, I use to play games and running out of batteries right in the middle of a good one. I would run like crazy looking for full ones

Just don't go with the Wireless Microsoft mice. They eat up batteries and aren't as accurate as other comparable wireless mice.

My experience is that you can only have one set (mouse/keyboard) in the same room. My husband and I tried wireless mouse/keyboard but that did not work

Yeap, using the MX700, the damn mouse dies whenever it feels like it, forcing me to use the stupid touchpad while it recharges some more.
