				Remotethumbs Wanna Be Alert!!!!!

HI THERE BOLDY JUST EMAIL ME AN EMAIL WITH A LINK TO A FREELANCER SITE THAT HAD THIS POST:

I am looking for a combination of 2 sites: http://www.remotethumbs.com http://www.sponsorpromot.com Site must be unique not to inflict with any copyright 1. Site design reflecting an adult theme including a banner rotation script, no amateurish design, but be original and creative and optimized for search engines. 2. I want site to be configured for easy admin, i would like to be able to add different sponsors and add galleries with descriptions by niche. The same with thumb galleries. 3. Users must be able to easily edit the type of galleries, fonts, size and number of galleries they would like to include on there pages...including tables if they have different niches on each page. 4. I would like the site to be easily changed later, perhaps build with templates for easy editing. 5. The main thing of these sites is a % of the galleries that display on members sites belong to me, i would like to easily be able to edit this percentage...and i would also like the option of selling these clicks to other members. If you have any question please feel free to ask. I am on a very limited budget but would be willing to work out some sort of commission partnership * Payment will be made after satisfactory completion of the work. * A preview of your work must be possible. * Post Installation Technical support is a Must! * If anything is not clear to you PLEASE ASK me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adveres is a great place to start when outsourcing your "Gallery Rotation Site" project. Adveres can be a source for all of your outsourcing needs. TWO THINGS 1. WE MUST BE DAMN GOOD TO HAVE PEOPLE COPY US 2. IS THIS GUY NUTS HOW MUCH DOES HE WANT TO SPEND??? RT IS WAY TO COMPLEX TO BE COPIED THEY DONT EVEN KNOW HALF OF THE HALF OF THE HALF OF THE BACK END AND HE IS ON LIMITED BUDGET LOL COPIES ARE ALWAYS COPIES.

You'd be surprised what can be accomplished with offshore programmers if they're managed correctly.

When posting "request for programmers", it is good to post some examples so they understand what exactly you're looking for. Now, if they had cloned your program and just changed the design, that would be very unethical, but they haven't. (I'm not the one who posted the ad...) |

Have I ever cloned your program? No. I am just tired of seeing you accuse EVERYBODY of copying your program when you didn't even originate it. So, rather than thinking you're trying to pass off originality, when you're just a clone yourself... I have given you the benefit of the doubt and just assumed this is a marketing technique. |

Back in early january when I was putting ThumbBooster.com together (When was that RT registration date again?) Carlos was already putting up his first beta test links on GalleryCash.com This whole thing is really just starting to get to me. Constantly with these guys making false claims. To hell with this idea, I'm cleaning up the TB code for release so anyone can do it. Anyone wanting a copy hit me up off the TB support icq. |

listen it is simple. Thumbnail preview templates that link to hosted galleries yes old concept.... what is original about us 1. we create the thumbnails 2. webmasters don't have to update or create thumbnails and mess with html once the system is done *automation* 3. you can have thumbs by niche with best clicked thumbs productivity *yes yes comus does it too* but you can choose from what niche or template and create archives 4. You dont have to worry about adding sponsor codes to url we do it for you. 5. you dont have to worry about going to sponsor webpage and choosing hosted galleries downloading them or entering them to your databae and the list goes on. now when you say i want a remotethumbs like system you are not just talking about thumbnailing man. That is our point damn

Other services did this before you, nice try. This is the whole root of the argument. 2. webmasters don't have to update or create thumbnails and mess with html once the system is done *automation* Again, other services did this before you, nice try. Again, this is another point of the ENTIRE fucking argument. 3. you can have thumbs by niche with best clicked thumbs productivity *yes yes comus does it too* but you can choose from what niche or template and create archives Yes, this feature is original in YOUR TYPE of service. Good job. 4. You dont have to worry about adding sponsor codes to url we do it for you. Somewhat original, as alot of the services that predated yours... didn't use sponsor hosted galleries -- but some did. 5. you dont have to worry about going to sponsor webpage and choosing hosted galleries downloading them or entering them to your databae See reply to point #4. Anyways, you have a decent service and all. And I have realized that you will never quit calling everybody a copycat (you must be 5, right?) -- so keep promoting your service and have fun! |

Face it, there will be clones of any successful idea, and there is not shit you can do about it . . . someone may even copy RT down to the color, but give it away. You must be prepared for any and all circumstances. |

I think the mac with the same software was over 3 times more expensive. Chockers version sponsorpromo.com is no skim (for free) your have a couple of advantages over his in the ability to design but there are still a lot of flaws in your product that could be exploited to make a good competitive product. Hell if this person steals the best ideas from chockers and combined them with the best from yours it would be a really good services. |

as a matter of fact we didn't even want to use tradescripts but users asked for it so much that we had no choice but to comply with our customers (customer service).

 1. You are the first and only thumb system. (LIE #1) 2. Choker's system redirect's to trades/tgps. (LIE #2) Choker's SP system does not send traffic to trades/tgps. So what's next? Are you going to claim you own the patent to streaming video and pull an ACACIA? |

LOL, this thread is pretty entertaining.

![]() While I'm here, I'll mention a system that predated both remotethumbs and sponsorpromo. I checked and the date on the PHP script they supplied is August 2003. I don't know if the program is still active, but it did the following: 1. Rotated unique galleries and uploaded thumbs to my server 2. Provided traffic back through header/footer clicks. I doubt they were even the first to do it either... |
