some SEO questions (nothing to hard)

Have a few simple questions that I'm not 100% about and wanted to hear some opinions.

I've been playing around with SEO stuff and building some sites, I have a pretty good idea of what I'm doing.. However a few technical questions

1) is it better to build the complete site and then make it live all at once or is it just fine to do a page or two at a time? I've heard the google bots like to find a nice big site all at once..

2) IP's and interlinking.. If I have my domains on diffrent IP's am I somewhat safe from a ban? IE 195.195.195.1 and 195.195.195.2 or do I need different class C's? like 195.195.195.1 and 195.195.193.1 and so on..

I'll be doing a lot of heavy interlinking across 20-30 domains if not more. So I really don't want to get my network of sites banned, so I need a reasonable way to set up my IP's. Any suggestions?

btw I was looking forward to the ynot radio SE shows anyone know when they are going to start?

1. Build big sites (put online when finished)
2. You need Block C IPs.
3. Dont interlink more than 10 domains (newbie can easily get the whole network banned)

1) doesn't matter
2) no idea
3) keep interlinking down or risk it all

that's what I kinda figured.. anyone know if I can upload the sites and leave out the index page untill the network is done.. Will the SE bots find the other pages?

1. Doesn't matter as long as you update frequently

2. No exessive interlinking on the same IP but you don't need different class c IPs for every domain (lots of sites are on shared hosting, there is no way that google would start banning domains that fast).

3. Just don't do heavy spamming and you won't have problems.Getting 30 IPs without going to different hosters should be hard tho even if nobody really enforces the RIPE rules for IP allocation.

well right now I'm set up with 5 IP's all the same class C.. each IP has abount 5 domains on it. I know, I don't really need a IP for each domain.. I was looking at maybe having 8-10 IPs so I would only need to have 2 or 3 domains per IP. I figured if I had 10 IP's with 5 diffrent class C's I would be ok.. I would think that would give me enough for now atleast.
