				 | Need help chosing a hotel in Las Vegas My buddy Ross showed me a sweet suite in the Monte Carlo, but today I found something nice in the Luxor too... For me it's the first time in Vegas, so I'd like to know what you guys recommend, and the pros and cons of both hotels, if you've ever been there ofcourse

				 | Out of the 2, I'd definitly go with the Luxor. If you really want an experience, stay at "The Hotel" which is part Bay, or the 4 Seasons. |

				 | From what I understand, the single best suite in town is at the Las Vegas Hilton. Actually I have heard that the three best are all there. The Venetian is probably the best hotel in town. Mandalay, Luxor, Mirage, Caesar's, Luxor, MGM, Aladdin are all amazing. I think every major hotel has amazing suites. I know I stayed once in the Frank Sinatra suite at the Riviera and it was HUGE. |

				 | How old are you and what sorts of things are you looking to do and see? Is the casino important to you? What do you play and at what limits? Vegas is what I do when I'm not doing porn. Personally I'd pick the Monte Carlo over the Luxor, although I may be the only one here. The casino and hotel are smaller, but I think they're in better condition and the staff is MUCH nicer at Monte Carlo. They have a nice pool at Monte Carlo with a wave pool, lazy river, etc. if that matters to you. The pool at Luxor is pretty, but pretty boring too. Monte Carlo is next door to NYNY and across from MGM, where lots of 20 somethines like to hang out. Luxor has a monorail that will take you to the corner by MGM and NYNY. Does that help or just muddy things up for you? Let me know if I can help you.

There is one thing I don't like much about Monte Carlo. Their restaurant selection is sort of limited. They have a big food court area instead of a middle range priced restaurant, which is a mistake, IMO. Of course, that's off set by my favorite place there. The Monte Carlo Brew Pub. YUMMY!!! They have GREAT food there that isn't too overpriced and microbrew beer. IMO, their dark beer is wonderful. Not too bitter, but enough to make it taste like stout. Their amber is our favorite. On weekends and some evenings, they have entertainment in their industrial decored dining room. Also, if there's a game on network TV, it is a fun place to watch.

				 | Are there something wrong with Mandalay since it's not mentioned? Aint it there the showfloor will be? My logic sence says, why not stay where the show will be? If not - please tell me why before I book.

I would stay in Mandalay Bay but to be honest its only about 1 mile down the road. I'll travel around and see Vegas Plus this room is twice as expensive but 10 times nicer than what I could get in Mandalay Bay for $2K | |

) I have stayed most of the strip hotels, I like the Monte Carlo and can sleep well recommending it to anyone, its like the Bellagio without the Bellagio prices. I agree with SQ with the limited Monte Carlo food choices, but its Las Vegas, you can find a million better places to eat, Smith & Wollensky's is across the street if you are lazy, but still want steak.
